    Incorporate and engage qualified staff

    What is required
    Incorporate the facility. A private clinic needs a Medical Practitioner in-charge (Operating Officer) and a Registered Nurse/Midwife, all registered to practise in Nigeria (MDCN/NMCN).

  2. 02

    Meet MDCN facility standards

    Agency
    Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
    What is required
    Provide facilities to MDCN standards: consulting rooms (~4x3 m) with couches and wash-basins, treatment/dispensing rooms, toilets with water closets, oxygen and suction, and waste management.

    Apply to the State health facility agency

    What is required
    Apply for registration and accreditation with the state health facility monitoring/accreditation agency (in addition to federal requirements).

    Inspection and licence
