    Register as an exporter with NEPC

    What is required
    Register on the NEPC e-registration portal to obtain an exporter certificate (prerequisite: a CAC-registered business). Certificate valid 24 months, then annual renewal.

  2. 02

    Obtain product quality / health certificates

    What is required
    Agricultural produce needs a NAQS phytosanitary certificate (per consignment); other goods may need SON or NAFDAC quality certification for the destination market.

    Obtain a Certificate of Origin

    Obtain a Certificate of Origin certifying the goods are of Nigerian origin.

    Complete and register Form NXP via bank

    Authorised Dealer Bank → NEPC
    What is required
    Initiate the electronic NXP form on the trade portal and submit to your bank; bank verifies and forwards to NEPC for final approval. NXP is completed in 6 copies.

    Customs inspection and shipment

    NCS inspects, endorses the NXP copies on shipment, and dispatches copies to CBN, NEPC and exporter.
