    Reserve the company name

    Check availability and reserve the proposed name on the CAC portal. Reservation fee ~₦1,000; name held for 60 days.

  2. 02

    Prepare incorporation documents

    What is required
    Prepare MEMART, share capital, registered office, and full details of shareholders and directors (name, address, DOB, ID, signature). From 2026 disclosing Persons with Significant Control (PSC) at incorporation is mandatory (CAMA 2020).

  3. 03

    Pay statutory fees and stamp duty

    Statutory incorporation fee ₦10,000 for share capital up to ₦1m (portal/processing may bring total to ~₦40,000+); pay stamp duty on share capital to the NRS.

    Submit application and obtain Certificate of Incorporation
