- Check availability and reserve the proposed name on the CAC portal. Reservation fee ~₦1,000; name held for 60 days.
- 1-2 proposed names

- Prepare incorporation documents
- Applicant / CAC
- Prepare MEMART, share capital, registered office, and full details of shareholders and directors (name, address, DOB, ID, signature). From 2026 disclosing Persons with Significant Control (PSC) at incorporation is mandatory (CAMA 2020).

- Pay statutory fees and stamp duty
- CAC + Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)
- Statutory incorporation fee ₦10,000 for share capital up to ₦1m (portal/processing may bring total to ~₦40,000+); pay stamp duty on share capital to FIRS.

- Submit application and obtain Certificate of Incorporation
- Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Submit the completed application on the CAC portal; on approval, download the Certificate of Incorporation and status report.
